Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, and conversant in French, Pauline Yeung is a former finance official, an innovation enthusiast, and a thought leader on soft power whose international outlook is reflected in an exceptional career of more than 15 years at the heart of economic and political decision-making in Asia. Through consulting firm KnitKnot Global, which she founded in September 2024, Pauline delivers a variety of solutions for private, public, and non-profit clients across the globe.
A graduate of Princeton and Central Saint Martins, Pauline has particular expertise in finance, innovation, and entrepreneurship as Author at Hong Kong University Business School Asia Case Research Centre, Chief Curator at Preface Technopreneur Programme, AI Evangelist at regtech company Fano Labs, and as an editor for topical reports for central banks and financial institutions.
Having worked on numerous projects with prominent families around the world and curated the inaugural Family Office Symposium at the Asian Financial Forum, she is also highly familiar with the family business and family office landscape in Hong Kong and internationally and serves as a biographer and researcher in this space.
Finally, Pauline is actively engaged in international dialogue and soft power initiatives, serving as Asia 21 Next Generation Fellow at Asia Society, Global Leadership Fellow at Salzburg Global and Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies, Delegate to Australia-China Youth Dialogue, Member of Korea, Europe & You Society, and Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Establishment of Korean Club of Hong Kong.
I aspire to continue bringing people from different walks of life together for connection and community, not unlike embroidery, and to use words to weave together tapestries that tell compelling stories. In recent years, I have worked with central banks, financial institutions, business schools, start-ups and entrepreneurs, and prominent families, bridging diverse cultures, building resilient networks, ensuring editorial quality, publishing thought leadership, and engaging in Track II diplomacy.
