Pauline Yeung 楊寶蓮 ポーリーン∙ヤン 양보련

Since 2017, Pauline has made signature contributions to the evolving ecosystem for finance and innovation, notably during her tenure at the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau in the Hong Kong SAR Government, when she held responsibility for policies on fintech and facilitated the launch of a new listing regime for pre-revenue biotech companies and new economy firms with weighted voting rights structures. More recently, her professionalism, resourcefulness, and leadership have allowed her to play a pivotal role in exciting projects as the Chief Curator of the Preface Technopreneur Program and Principal Representative, Global Business, at AI-driven Korean celebrity platform Aligo.   

A prolific writer, Pauline has published business case studies on Chinese multinational Lenovo and Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek and leveraged her language skills to conduct research on tech unicorns such as Japan-based SmartHR and Korea-based Yanolja in addition to Hong Kong-based start-ups like GreenPrice. She also harnesses her passion for writing through editorial projects for central banks and financial institutions on topics in financial policy and financial technology.
